The National Executive of the Australian Association of Environmental Education is using World Environment Day (5 June) to announce a new grant opportunity for its members across its Australian Branches and Chapters.

The AAEE Executive has allocated funds for the development of resources, products or activities that will:

1.     help achieve its mission;

2.     are nationally relevant and provide value to members, chapters/branches;

3.     will help increase membership for specific educator groups; and

4.     potentially be a saleable product or income generating activities or events.

A total of $10,000 is being allocated by the AAEE Executive with individual applications not exceeding $5000.

AAEE President, Mark Caddey said "We are asking our AAEE community to develop a great project to share their knowledge, these grants are open from 5 to 30 June 5 2018.

"Our hope is to fund a range of new initiatives and projects that support our Members nationally.

“World Environment Day is a perfect occasion to celebrate all of our shared appreciation of the environment we are part of.

"AAEE as a professional association also wants to invite members across Australia to take this opportunity and apply for a grant,” Mark said.
