The Zayed Sustainability Prize invites schools and students from Australia and the Oceania region to be part of a growing community of innovators, committed to developing impactful sustainability solutions.
We are seeking schools with innovative ideas for sustainability projects to submit an entry to the internationally esteemed Zayed Sustainability Prize. Proposed projects should showcase how sustainability can improve the school and its surrounding community. Sustainability areas can be in the area of Energy, Water, Food or Health, or a combination of these.
The winning high school in the East Asia / Pacific region will receive US$100,000 to implement their program.
Originally established by the United Arab Emirates leadership as the Zayed Future Energy Prize in 2008, the Zayed Sustainability Prize is a global award inspired by the sustainability legacy of the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Since introducing the Global High School category in 2013, thirty-five high schools across the globe have received US$100,000 to implement a sustainability program in their school.
