Learning for Sustainability

Efforts towards sustainability in any field are built on processes for communicating, learning, and sharing knowledge, engaging people in their multiple roles as individuals, and as members of communities and organizations. This portal (formerly NRM-changelinks) is designed for those wanting to improve collaboration within a range of governance initiatives.

A unique approach to education that incorporates philosophies of environmental education, leadership and personal development. OzGREEN programs enable people to move through overwhelm into action by facilitating them to focus on the issues that are of most concern to them, envision how they'd like it to be, then develop a plan of action that makes a difference.

Resources for Schools

Getting started with Sustainability in Schools

Sustainability is a cross-curriculum priority within the Australian Curriculum. It's time to embed sustainability into your classroom, school and community. The Getting Started with Sustainability in Schools website provides four key steps to sustainability education in the classroom, school, community or connecting to networks. It also has a searchable resources portal for accessing curriculum-linked teaching resources.

Teach Sustainability

Learning & Teaching Sustainability website represents a community of Australian tertiary educators that is supported by the Australian Government.

Sustainable Schools NSW

Sustainable Schools NSW aims to connect environmental educators with relevant resources, interactive lessons and a like-minded community to help spread the important message of sustainability to future generations. We have a goal that every school in NSW is a sustainable school. Managed by AAEE NSW.
