Behind every inspired educator is a community that lifts them up. Your donation strengthens AAEE to support environmental educators across Australia.

As Australia’s peak professional body for environmental educators, we provide a collaborative and supportive network for environmental educators across Australia.

Every donation counts.
The Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation. We are a registered charity with the ACNC and are endorsed as a deductible gift recipient. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible and will go towards our work in supporting environmental education in Australia.

Where does my donation go?

AAEE maintains an established Public Fund which supports the purposes and objectives of the Association according to our Constitution.

Progress AAEE Mission and Objectives

Donated funds are only used to progress the Mission and Objectives of AAEE.

Develop and expand key projects

Your donation supports our goals of professional learning (such as our National Conferences) and networking and collaboration (such as our Educators Networks program).

Support AAEE internal grants

Your donations also support AAEE internal grants (such as the sEEd grants program).

Yes, regular giving donors can manage their own donation settings by logging into Raisely. Login access is provided via a direct link included in the Regular Donation Welcome Message.

If a donor loses access to the welcome email, you can also resend them a receipt, which will provide their account login link.

Once logged in, donors can:

  • Modify the amount and frequency of their regular giving donation
  • Pause or cancel their regular giving donation
  • Update the credit card details linked to the donation
  • Edit their general account settings (such as personal details and password)

All donations go directly to the Public Fund and are managed by the Public Fund Management Committee of the National Committee. Donated funds are only used to progress the Mission and Objectives of AAEE.

Yes, a gift to the AAEE in your will or in memory of a loved one, is a way to have a positive impact on future generations. Please contact AAEE President, Dr Lisa Siegel, at admin@aaee.org.au for a confidential discussion.

We will use all reasonable means to protect the confidentiality of your Personal Data while in our possession or control. All information we receive from you is stored and protected on our secure servers from unauthorized use or access. Credit card information is encrypted before transmission and is not stored by us on our servers.

To enable us to deliver our services, we may transfer information that we collect about you, including Personal Data, across borders for storage and processing in countries other than Australia. If your Personal Data is transferred and processed outside Australia, it will only be transferred to countries that have adequate privacy protections.

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide services to you and as otherwise necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

In the event there is a breach of our security and your Personal Data is compromised, we will promptly notify you in compliance with the applicable law.

Our donations are processed through a Third Party platform called Raisley, a certified B-Corp. For more information on Raisely's security and privacy, please visit their website.

Yes, while membership offers you the chance to make use of our increasing range of resources, networks and professional learning opportunities, donations help us extend our impact - supporting environmental education initiatives, strengthening educator networks, and enabling programs that reach more learners and communities across Australia.
