Voices of the Waters

Overview

Voices of the Waters (VOW) is an evolving project that includes and builds on AAEE’s successful national SeaWeek. The goal is to help people better understand where all water comes from, how it moves through landscapes and communities, and where it eventually goes.

It focuses on the everyday connections we all have with water, from rainfall and rivers to coasts and the ocean. This project will create new opportunities for educators to connect, learn and share ideas about water literacy through the Water Educators Network.

Key features of this project

SeaWeek

Strengthen and evolve SeaWeek as a national platform for ocean awareness, learning and community-led action.

Build Literacy

Build water literacy across Australia, connecting green water, freshwater and ocean systems from inland to coast.
